Donations

As a non-profit organization, we rely on donations alone to take care of the animals entrusted to us. We also have a wish list that includes paper towels, bleach, liquid laundry detergent, cat and dog food, kitty litter, garbage bags, harnesses/collars, leashes, pet toys, treats, blankets and towels to make bedding (they don't have to be new, just clean and in decent shape), and copier paper. If you would like to donate any of the products on our wish list, please drop by our facility. If you would like to make a tax-deductible donation, you may mail it or drop it off at:

In addition to monetary donations, we also have a need for help with facility repairs and maintenance.  We desperately need a van for transports.  If you would like to donate your labor or materials and equipment, please call us at (618) 443-3363.  Remember, we're a 501 c(3) non-profit organization, so your contribution is tax deductible!!

The RCHS is holding a membership drive!  You can join us in making a big difference in the lives of unwanted animals by becoming a member of our organization.  A single 1-year membership is only $25 and a couples membership is $40.  Your membership includes a certificate and membership card along with access to our list-serve.  All proceeds from our membership drive will be used directly for the animals.  You can use PayPal for your membership by simply adding "membership" in the comments section or you can mail your check to the address above.  Have questions?  Contact Debbie Brooks, our Membership Committee Chairman.  

Healthy Heart Fund

We need your help.  A large number of dogs at our shelter have been tested heartworm positive.  Heartworms are fatal to dogs if left untreated.  Please help us provide heartworm treatment for these dogs by specifying Healthy Heart Fund in the comments section of your PayPal contribution or on the memo line of your check.  Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!
