Saving lives one by one...Every day unwanted animals find themselves in city and county animal control facilities awaiting death. The Randolph County Humane Society works with these organizations to rescue these animals and place them in loving homes. We operate a limited access animal shelter. We are not affiliated with Randolph County Animal Control. We are a private, 501c3 organization operated by volunteers. We strive to provide the best possible care & good homes for the unwanted animals in our possession. We accept animals from the public on a limited basis. Surrender fees are $50 per dog and $35 per cat. Acceptance is based upon space available and adoptability of the animal. Placement assistance is available. Please see the surrender page for more information. Your help is needed... The Randolph County Humane Society receives no Federal or State funding. We are a no-kill shelter. We rely solely on our volunteers, sponsors, membership, and donations from concerned citizens to keep us in operation. Without public support, we are unable to continue in our life saving mission. We are always in need of help from the community. Volunteers are needed. Donations of supplies and monetary contributions are essential to the shelter.
